Title: “Holiness to the Lord: The House of the Lord.”

Statement: “And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant, which I made unto thy father Enoch; that, when men should keep all my commandments, Zion should again come on the earth, the city of Enoch which I have caught up unto myself. 22 “And this is mine everlasting covenant, that when thy posterity shall embrace the truth, and look upward, then shall Zion look downward, and all the heavens shall shake with gladness, and the earth shall tremble with joy; 23 “And the general assembly of the church of the firstborn shall come down out of heaven, and possess the earth, and shall have place until the end come. And this is mine everlasting covenant, which I made with thy father Enoch. 24 “And the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will establish my covenant unto thee, which I have made between me and thee, for every living creature of all flesh that shall be upon the earth. 25 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and thee; for all flesh that shall be upon the earth.” ~ JST Gen. 9:21-25 The Truth, to put it simply, is that we are all children of Heavenly Parents, created in Their Image, Male and Female. They desire for us to become as They are, and for us to fill the measure of our creation, as They have filled the measure of Theirs. But we are cast out of Their presence by reason of The Fall; therefore They provided a savior for us, Jesus Christ, to bring us back into Their presence. Here in these first Truths, I want to stop and examine a pattern. The uniqueness of the roles of male and female, is that one cannot fill the measure of their creation without the other, and that both cannot meet that measure, even together, without Jesus Christ. The perfect example of the role of the Man is in Christ; the man is the high priest, he covers (atones), provides for and protects the Woman, and the conditions for life to thrive and progress. The perfect example of the role of the Women is in Zion and Temples. The woman is herself a Temple, and the first one God sends his children to in this life; she is responsible for creating the conditions of new life to begin; for a child to be clothed with a body, nourished, receive a name, pass through a veil, and be born of blood, water and spirit into the presence and arms of loving parents. This is also continued after birth in the home, with being clothed, fed and nurtured… the pattern repeats at baptism, then again in the Temple of God. Women are responsible for creating the environment of progression, and preparing children for a covenant connection to Christ, and being “born again”. Men are responsible for presiding in, protecting, and providing for that environment. In this we see the pattern of progression is undeniable. That in every stage to become like our Heavenly Parents, who are themselves of the highest Priesthood Order and Heavenly Home, we must pass through Temples, according to Their Way and Order. It must be according to Their Order, for a Temple is not a proper temple without the presence of The Lord, sanctifying and making it Holy. We must be born again each step. “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” - John 3:5-7 And this is His new and everlasting covenant, that Zion will again come to the earth, and that the earth will be renewed and become a paradise again, a Temple, with Christ as head. The promise is that God’s presence will again fill the earth, starting with the hearts and homes of His people, when they embrace His Truth, according to His way and Order. The Rainbow is the token and sign of that promise, should we forget the Truth of who we are, and what we are meant to become.” Related scriptures: 1 Corinthians 11:11 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 John 3:5-7 JST Revelation 12:1-3 Doctrine and Covenants 93:27 (also vs. 1-40) Doctrine and Covenants 88:19, 66-68 (also the whole section) Moses 7:18-21
